Staff transport in Sharjah with us starts from AED 450 per day for a 13-seater van with driver and fuel, and regular routes are priced per month, per route. The only route price we publish is a daily Sharjah to Dubai return run in a 12 to 15 seat van, from AED 4,800 per month; routes that stay inside Sharjah are shorter and are quoted for their actual stops and timings.
Every route comes with a regular driver where possible, air-conditioning, a seat belt on every seat and a replacement vehicle if the usual one is off the road. You get one written monthly price per route, and changes to headcount or timings are confirmed in writing.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my priceMost of the staff transport we plan in Sharjah falls into one of three shapes, and each has its own problem to solve.
Inside Sharjah. Workers living in accommodation in Al Sajaa, the industrial areas or Muwaileh, travelling to warehouses, workshops and factories across the numbered industrial areas. The distances are short. The time goes on collecting from several blocks and getting through the industrial area traffic at shift change, when every company’s bus arrives at once.
To a free zone. Office and warehouse staff living in Al Nahda, Al Taawun, Al Majaz or Rolla, heading to the free zone beside Sharjah Airport or out to Hamriyah on the coast. Free zone gates often ask for vehicle and driver details in advance, which our free zone staff transport guide covers.
Across the border. Staff who live in Sharjah and work in Dubai, or the reverse. The Sharjah to Dubai commute has its own page, Sharjah to Dubai staff transport, and Ajman has Ajman to Dubai staff transport. The reverse run, from Al Qusais or Al Nahda in Dubai to a Sharjah industrial area, is the easy one: the morning queue on Al Ittihad Road is heading the other way.
| Route type | What slows it | What we plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Accommodation to industrial area | Many pick-up blocks, shift-change traffic | Three to five stops, leave before the rush of other buses |
| City flats to the airport free zone | Al Wahda Street and the airport road at 8 a.m. | Pick-ups on service roads, a 15 minute buffer |
| Sharjah to Hamriyah | Distance north along the coast road | A route that finishes north, so nobody rides twice |
| Dubai homes to Sharjah sites | The evening run home into Dubai | Morning and evening timed separately |
We don’t like anyone sitting on a staff bus for much more than an hour and a quarter each way. When one route can’t manage that, we split it into two smaller vehicles before we quote, and tell you why.
Crew transport is about three things: a belted seat for every worker, a count at every stop and a vehicle that is cool before anyone gets in. Drivers keep a simple headcount for each run, and supervisors get the driver’s number on the first day.
In summer, the midday break for outdoor work (usually from mid-June to mid-September) changes the day for site crews. Some companies bring people back to the accommodation at midday and out again in the afternoon. That is an extra pair of runs on the route, and we price it as part of the monthly quote rather than as a surprise.
During Ramadan, working hours shorten and shifts move. Send the new timings a week before it starts and we re-plan the pick-ups. See our page on labour transport for how crew runs work in more detail.
Count the busiest run of the week, add a seat or two for new joiners, then take the smallest vehicle that fits. As a guide, with full-day starting prices for driver and fuel:
Two shifts can often share one vehicle. A van that drops the day shift at 7 a.m. can collect the night shift for the return trip, and the monthly price reflects that. One bigger bus doing a long loop is rarely better than two smaller vehicles on short ones; the workers at the end of the loop are the ones who arrive tired.
We price each route per month from the distance, the number of runs each day, the working days, the vehicle size and any waiting between runs. Fuel, the driver and road tolls are included. A route that stays inside Sharjah, with short runs between accommodation and an industrial area, usually costs less than the Sharjah to Dubai run, because the vehicle covers fewer kilometres and spends less time in traffic.
