A fixed morning and evening run from Ajman to your workplace in Dubai: set pick-up points, a regular driver and one monthly price.
Your reference
Plenty of people who work in Dubai live in Ajman. Rent is lower and family is close, and the price of that choice is a commute that can eat two hours of every working day. When the company runs it, with one vehicle, one driver and a fixed departure, staff arrive together and the employer stops paying for late starts and parking.
This page is about routes that start in Ajman. If your people live in Sharjah, read Sharjah to Dubai staff transport instead. If they live in both, a combined run is possible and we explain how to decide below.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my priceAjman is small, but the pick-up map still matters. We normally build a route from three to five stops beside the main roads, so the vehicle does not wind through back streets before it reaches the border.
Most Ajman staff cross into Sharjah on one of three roads: the coast road through the city, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) or Emirates Road (E611). The driver chooses on the day: the coast is shorter on a good morning, and the inland roads are the better bet after an accident near the Sharjah crossing, where most of the morning delay is born.
A rough guide for a vehicle leaving Ajman between about 6:30 and 8 a.m. Distances are approximate and the times assume normal traffic, not an accident or a rainy day.
| Dubai workplace area | Distance from Ajman, about | Typical morning ride |
|---|---|---|
| Al Qusais, Al Nahda (Dubai side), Deira | 30 to 45 km | 50 to 80 minutes |
| Bur Dubai, Karama, Oud Metha | 45 to 55 km | 60 to 90 minutes |
| Business Bay, Downtown, DIFC | 55 to 65 km | 70 to 100 minutes |
| Al Quoz and Dubai Investments Park | 60 to 80 km | 75 to 110 minutes |
| Jebel Ali and Dubai South | 85 km or more | 90 to 130 minutes |
Look hard at the last two rows. A 90-minute ride each way is three hours of a person’s day, and for Jebel Ali or Dubai South it is worth asking whether housing nearer the site would work better than the bus.
Take an office in Deira with a 9 a.m. start. A vehicle that leaves Al Nuaimiya at 7:15 meets the worst of the Sharjah queue and may arrive at 8:50. Leaving at 6:45, it can be at the door by 8. That costs the staff half an hour of sleep and gives them a quiet half hour at their desks.
The evening run is the mirror image: leaving Dubai at 5 p.m. puts the bus into the heaviest northbound traffic of the day. If your teams finish at different times, price a second evening departure so the early finishers are not waiting for the last person to log off.
Count the busiest run of the week, add a seat or two for new joiners, then pick the smallest vehicle that fits.
A 13-seater van can get into tight Ajman streets that a coach cannot, which is one reason a contract sometimes mixes a van and a coach. Our bus size guide has the full comparison, and our labour transport page covers crews on construction and facilities contracts.
We quote Ajman routes for the actual distance, the stops and the hours, in writing, as a monthly price per route. The only route figure we publish is for the nearest comparable run: a 12 to 15 seat van on a daily Sharjah to Dubai return starts from AED 4,800 per month, with driver and fuel. The typical market range for that run is AED 5,000 to 6,500 per month.
Ajman sits further north, so treat the Sharjah figure as a reference and nothing more. What moves an Ajman quote is the distance to the Dubai workplace, the number of stops, one departure a day or two, and six working days a week or five.
Example only: if a van carries 14 people on a route priced at AED 4,800 per month, that is about AED 343 per person per month. With 10 people on the same route, it is AED 480. Empty seats are the biggest lever you control. The staff transport cost guide works through the arithmetic.
Small teams can share one vehicle that collects in Ajman first and Sharjah second. The rule we use is simple: nobody should spend more than about 75 minutes on the bus in the morning. Add up the minutes from the first stop to the Dubai gate. If the first passenger is past that, split the run.
Two vehicles also keep the teams independent: when one changes shift, the other keeps its time. The quote shows both options side by side.
The commute also runs the other way. Factories in Ajman Industrial Area and Al Jurf hire people who live in Dubai, often in Al Qusais or Muhaisnah. Those routes run against the main traffic, so they are usually quicker. If your shifts line up, one vehicle may carry Ajman staff south and Dubai staff north in the same morning, and the quote says so.

Send the Ajman areas your staff live in with a headcount for each, the Dubai address and gate, the start and finish times, the working days and any shift that differs. Routes run on the working days in your contract, and Ramadan hours mean a re-timed run, so send the new timetable early. Use the booking form and choose “Staff transport (recurring)”, or write to info@emiratesbushire.com or WhatsApp +971 54 126 1681. We reply with a written monthly price. Quick answers for this trip.
Around 50 to 80 minutes to Deira or Al Qusais in the morning peak, and 70 to 100 minutes to Business Bay or Downtown. Jebel Ali and Dubai South are longer. We set the departure from real traffic and adjust it after the first week.
Yes. We usually build a route with three to five stops beside main roads, such as Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya, Al Jurf and Al Rawda. Send the areas and the headcount for each and we propose the order.
It is a monthly price per route, quoted in writing for your distance, stops and hours. For reference, a 12 to 15 seat van on a daily Sharjah to Dubai return starts from AED 4,800 per month, against a typical market range of AED 5,000 to 6,500. Ajman is further, so ask for the actual quote.
For a small team, often yes. If the first person on board would ride for more than about 75 minutes, we suggest two vehicles, one from each emirate. The quote shows both options.
Monthly contracts start at one month. For a short project or a seasonal peak, ask about weekly cover.
A 30-seater mini coach, which gives you a few spare seats. Two 13-seater vans cost more to run and mean two drivers, though they can suit a route with two distinct pick-up areas.
